Isekai Cheat Magician (Episode 7) – Taichi Becomes A Summoner

Last episode, a large group of assorted monsters attacked the city. Despite what appeared to be thousands of them being killed, their attack continues!

Also, a pair of twins who were enemies and created an army of orcs with the intent of destorying the town randomly switched sides and joined Taichi after their orb broke.

Finally, Rin gave up fighting and was just about to be crushed by an ogre, when Taichi jumped in at the last second to save the day.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest (Episode 5.5) – Recap + Bunnygirl

Last episode, Hajime learned some ancient magic from the spirit of the maverick that once lived on the labyrinth’s 100th floor. He and Yue then spent some time gearing up and preparing for the next step in their journey – heading back to the surface, via teleportation.

Unfortunately, this is not episode 6, but episode 5.5.
What this means is that the episode is 99% recap, and 1% teaser for the next episode.

And so, I’ll just go over the super short teaser at the end of this recap episode, and we’ll be done here.

Isekai Cheat Magician (Episode 1) – Two Ordinary People Summoned To Another World!?

Isekai anime, am I right?
There sure is a lot of it these days..

There’s still one more that hasn’t aired too, but I won’t be watching it.
Maou-sama, Retry!, Arifureta, and now Isekai Cheat Magician are all the isekai anime I’ll be covering this season.

I know I’ve said that I love fantasy anime, and isekai by extension.
Once again I have to say, we’ll see how I feel about that after this season! I also still have to watch Shield Hero at some point, and that will probably be sooner than later.

Who am I kidding though, I love this stuff.
I have to wait an entire week for another episode?

Fantasy, Fantasizing… Sleep?

I’ve got an announcement!
I will be contributing to a new blog created by EdgyAnimeTeen specifically for Monogatari content, called EAT Monogatari! And I just published my first post there! You may have suspected this, with some of my picture choices and mentions, but Monogatari is my favourite anime. There’s so much I love about the series that I won’t take up too much of this post to explain. If you like the Monogatari Series, check it out!

Also, I’m so close to finishing Bakuman completely. Just you wait, I have a lot to write about it!

But until then, a fluff post about one unconventional reason why I love fantasy anime so much.

This picture is a reason in itself.

Fantasy Highschool Anime

Today’s post is going to be a short one. I’ve mentioned before, but I enjoy magic / fantasy highschool anime. Many anime that use this setting are eerily similar, but I still enjoy them. It’s sort of nice knowing what you are going to get for the most part before starting a fantasy highschool anime.

I think that having a school setting allows an anime to easily take breaks in-between conflicts as well as expose the protagonist to a wide variety of characters. Sometimes the conflict is between schools / students, sometimes it’s an outside threat. Either way the setting is a nice tool to “ground” the anime so to speak.
