For past, present, and future posts of the Konobi collaboration.
As always, anyone can write a post for this collaboration at anytime, and I will add it to this list.
Consider it a challenge or something, should you ever be interested in watching This Art Club Has A Problem! / Konobi! The theme lists will be here as well, so you have everything conveniently in one place for the next time you decide to watch Konobi.
This is it, the final episode of the collab.
What a journey it’s been!
Thanks to everyone who has taken part in the collab, and thanks to everyone who has been following along and reading all of the collab posts! This has been a quite long-winded collab, I don’t think I truly understood how much of an undertaking this was going to be, so I really appreciate everyone who followed along. It’s been fun and I hope everyone else enjoyed it as well. Anime really is more fun when you can talk / write about it with others.
If I ever did something like this again, I’d maybe consider something more condensed or more spaced out, like posts for every 3 episodes or something. One post per episode is quite a bit. On the plus side though it did help me employ a more consistent posting schedule, and it’s nice to be able to examine each individual episode like this. Konobi ended up being a great choice for this kind of “theme” collab I think.
I also think a collab like this with a discussion focus instead of a theme focus would be fun if paired with a more serious anime. An idea for another time – unless someone reading this would be interested in starting something like that – count me in!
Each week, for each episode I will post a list of themes.
Pick a theme, watch the episode, and write a post about it!
You are free to write however you wish, and as much as you wish.
Just be sure to write about your chosen theme in relation to the episode!
Please tag the post the theme list post where you got your chosen theme (ex. tag this post for episode 11) so that I can keep track of everyone’s posts. I will also update this post with a list of everyone’s posts as we go.
Only three more episodes to go!
Last episode managed to not advance the plot / characters at all.
Will Imari stay as a side character?
Will Collette get more than a few minutes of screentime for once?
Is Koyama-sensei alive or dead?
What was President’s masterpiece, that caused him to stop creating art?
So many questions, so little time.
Which is why I’m banking on this episode answering some of our questions.

Consider joining in!
Previous themes lists can be found here.
I didn’t catch the preview for this one, but I’m guessing we can expect some more Imari as she settles into the cast. Will she join the art club this episode? I’m guessing that she will – it’d be against the rules for a major character to NOT join the club! Either way I’m anticipating some interactions between Imari and President / Collette, and maybe Tachibana-sensei this episode.

This includes YOU, the fantastic individual who is reading this right now!

Also just a friendly reminder that just because we have reached episode 6, doesn’t mean you can’t join in! WhoAmI? just joined in recently with an excellent post for episode 1, and I think we’d all love to have more collab posts to read!
So if any of you are on the fence about joining in, there is an example that you can follow. Whether you start at episode 1, or start here on episode 6.
Why not give it a shot?
I can’t speak for the rest of you, but I’ve been really enjoying Konobi, as well as some of the themes I’ve chosen. I’ve never watched a comedy anime like this weekly, and it’s actually been quite relaxing to just sit down and watch a single episode, as opposed to 3-5 episodes.
That said, let’s make the episodic themes a little more character-centric this time around.
