Anime Studio Challenge: 3xCube's Jitsu wa Watashi wa (Actually, I Am…) (Review)

Alright, another anime studio challenge review.
This time, it’s 3xCube’s Jitsu wa Watashi Wa.

There were only two choices here, so it was basically either a supernatural school harem, or an adventure romance. And I went with the school harem, of course! In reality I was just in the mood for some comedy.

In the spirit of transparency I will disclose that I did skip the studio / producer 33 Collective, whose only work was a 40 episode children’s show. I hadn’t originally factored kids shows into the rules, but I’ll probably end up skipping those too if they are the only option. We’ll see though on a case-by-case basis…

Spoiler-free as usual.

Anime Studio Challenge: 2:10 Animation's Wo Shi Jiang Xiaobai (+ OVA) (Review)

The next producer / studio on the list is an actual studio – 2:10 Animation.
And if you couldn’t tell from the name of the anime, it’s a Chinese studio!

The anime is called Wo Shi Jiang Xiaobai.
For some reason, on MAL the English translation of this is “I’m Joybo”.

I’ve got a few words regarding that later though.
So let’s get into it.

Spoiler-free as usual.

"Anime" Studio Challenge: 1theK's Blue Hawaii (ft. Crush, Penomeco) (Review)

Well this isn’t really an anime, it’s an animated music video for a song.

The thing is, it’s technically on the studio / producers list, and it gives me something to write about. So it checks two boxes, and it only took me 4 minutes to watch! I’m all about getting some efficient entries into this challenge, considering how long it’ll take!

Plus in this case, you can all watch it too!
Some niche content right here, at least I’m guessing so based on the views.

Anime Studio Challenge: 1st PLACE's Mekakucity Actors (Spoiler-free Review)

Another studio / producer with only a single entry. Seeing as I know that Mekakucity was done by studio Shaft, 1st PLACE must be a producer. One of many from the looks of it. Once again it makes me think that sometimes a “producer” is created for a single anime. Or perhaps, it’s a mistake on MAL, I don’t know for sure.

Maybe I’ll learn more about this stuff as we go.
I ended up getting another rewatch here, with Mekakucity Actors.

An anime I’ve held some strong opinions on in the past, and the anime that brought us the beautiful seagull I use as a favicon for this blog!
We’ve come full circle!

Welcome back, old friend.

Anime Studio Challenge: 12 Diary Holders' Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) (Review)

So the studio / producer this time is 12 Diary Holders, which only has Mirai Nikki under their belt, on MAL at least. I imagine this was something created specifically for Mirai Nikki, given the name.

Makes me wonder why someone would do that, or what the reasoning for it is, like if it was for marketing purposes. Anyways, this challenge isn’t really about the studios / producers themselves, and more about watching anime.

The anime this time is Mirai Nikki!
This review will be spoiler-free, with nothing spoiled beyond what is already mentioned in the anime’s synopsis on MAL.

Anime Studio Challenge: 10Gauge’s Tobidasu PriPara: Mi~nna de Mezase! Idol☆Grand Prix (Review)

That’s right, it’s the first anime of the anime studio challenge!

Tobidasu PriPara: Mi~nna de Mezase! Idol☆Grand Prix, a PriPara movie featuring what I imagine are several songs from the PriPara anime.
