Around the Anime Blogging Community: Only the Best (Week 1)

Hey everyone, I just recently had a brilliant idea.
A real stroke of genius, I must say.

What if I published weekly recap posts featuring all of the best anime blogging posts of the past week? And then posted it on a Sunday, to finish off the week? I think I might be the very first to come up with something like this!

And so that’s what I’m going to do, starting with this past week.
A weekly roundup post that will help me to better connect with the rest of the aniblogging community. That way I can sleep soundly knowing I did my part in strengthening the bonds between us all.

Let’s just dive right into some of the best blog posts that this past week had to offer! There are some great ones here, so I hope I can help connect you all to some blogs you may have not seen before!!

Celebrating the Blogger Recognition Award by Yomu @ Umai Yomu Anime Blog

First up we have an amazing post that went out last Sunday by Yomu from the Umai Yomu Anime Blog. From what I’ve read of his stuff, Yomu appears to be not only a very humble blogger but also a very wise one too – he offers some great advice in this post that we can all learn from!

Let’s all give this blog some love!

Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu Episode 12
by Yomu @ Umai Yomu Anime Blog

Next I’d like to draw some attention to this short and sweet post by Yomu from the Umai Yomu Anime Blog. Personally, I haven’t read very much of Yomu’s work, but I know that I will now after reading his review of Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu, an anime that I also happen to be watching. So not only was this a pleasant surprise, but it also opened my eyes to an amazing anime blogger!

Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tsue Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru Review (Spoiler Free) by Yomu @ Umai Yomu Anime Blog

Don’t mind the long title for this post by Yomu from the Umai Yomu Anime Blog, that’s just the way anime titles are going these days. What we have here is a glowing review of the isekai comedy Shinchou Yuusha, also known as Cautious Hero by Yomu. Not only did I really enjoy the review, but Yomu also manages to make the review spoiler-free! If you weren’t sure about this anime, check out the review for yourself!

Date A Live S3 E7 – Revenge-Crazed Lunatic
by Yomu @ Umai Yomu Anime Blog

Here we have another review of an individual episode of anime. This time, it’s Yomu from the Umai Yomu Anime Blog’s review of episode 7 from Date A Live season 3. I found the review quite interesting as Yomu dives into his newfound disdain for Origami, as referenced by the title of his post. Personally, I feel the exact same way.

Haven’t seen too much attention on this blog, so I encourage you all to go and give Yomu from the Umai Yomu Anime Blog a follow!!!

The Gutenberg WordPress Block Editor – An Update by Yomu @ Umai Yomu Anime Blog

This final post for the weekly roundup isn’t an anime post at all, but it touches upon a subject that I’m sure we all have our own positions on – the WordPress Gutenberg block editor. Yomu from the Umai Yomu Anime Blog describes his past experiences, as well as his current stance on this once-controversial draft editing tool.

I find myself agreeing with most of his points here, if not all. A well thought-out post that perhaps will help ease some people’s negative opinions towards the Gutenberg editor!

And that’s it for this week.
I hope that you all enjoyed this format, I really think that posts like this will only help make the anime blogging community stronger. We’re not like YouTube, or Twitter, or any of those other communities. We stick together.

Which is why I wanted to begin a series like this.
For all of you.

Until next time,
You’re welcome.
