It’s About Time I Was Properly Recognized!

Alright, so I’ve been nominated for another award.

Normally, I go on a long tangent about how the Umai Yomu Anime Blog gets so many awards that I can hardly keep up with them all. Like seriously we’re buried in awards over here. It’s crazy. We’re not complaining, but there’s only so much space on the fridge!

Anyways, I usually like to say a couple words about how great this blog is and that it’s received all sorts of awards over the years. All sorts. I can’t even remember any other examples because there have just been so many. It’s amazing how many awards go around these parts.

So as I was saying, this time I’m going to cut down on pointing out how amazing the Umai Yomu Anime Blog is, and how it’s won countless awards, some of which were very prestigious, even in the blogging community. They don’t just hand these out you know.

I never started this blog for the glory, for the popularity and prestige. I know that the Umai Yomu Anime Blog has essentially become the epitome of anime blogs, a real shining star in the anime blogging community, and beyond, but that’s not why I do what I do. I do what I do because I enjoy writing about anime!

And it just so happens that my writing attracts the brightest minds from around the world, the most prestigious awards this world has to offer, more views than Google itself… and so on.

Look, I get it. The Umai Yomu Anime Blog is leagues ahead of the rest, so far out of reach, that it can look like I’m gloating when I continue to publish posts like this one, showcasing even more of my blog’s glory. What can I say, I didn’t choose this life, it chose me. With enough smarts and elbow grease you all can reach these heights too, I’m sure of it.

I’ll have you all know it wasn’t an easy road to get here. A lot of passion went into reaching this moment. The Umai Yomu Anime Blog was once an obscure publication on the far reaches of the internet. Seriously! You don’t believe me? Trust me when I say that even I, the greatest anime blogger to have existed, had to start from somewhere.

The investors, the big money, the awards, the glory, it didn’t all happen overnight. It took time, energy, and a warrior spirit. I was out there knocking on doors for months before I finally hit that big break. It wasn’t luck! It took hard work, dedication. And if I could do it, then so can you. You just have to get out there and make it happen.

I’m happy to receive an award that isn’t about anyone else for once, and instead is all about me. Me, and my blog. Me and my accomplishments. It’s all about recognizing and celebrating the Umai Yomu Anime Blog, as it should be! A quick thanks to myself, for making it this far, and earning an award like this.

Ultimately, here is the lesson that I want you to take away from this. While I may spend most of my time counting money, basking in my pile of awards, checking myself out in the mirror, and admiring my site’s stats…
I’m a man of the people.
I do this all for you.
