暁Records – CALL MY ALL

Let’s get some more Akatsuki Records going here.

Once again, I don’t have to translate anything because the song name is in English. Maybe next time.

So with that, here’s the next song – CALL MY ALL!

All right, so the original Touhou track is called Legend of the Great Gods, and the thing is, I can’t hear the resemblance at all! Normally, even if I don’t hear it the first time, I pick up on similarities at some point. Maybe it’s just me but it’s going completely over my head this time around. And I’m certain it’s the correct song, because here is a link to the song in Japanese – 大神神話伝, which is referenced on the Akatsuki song and video description.

Anyways, it is what it is in regards to that. On the plus side, this song is very nice. And I normally don’t comment on the PV itself, but the animation for this PV in particular I thought was very beautiful. Especially the second chorus, with the blue sky and animated grass to falling stars, the backgrounds were awesome. I don’t know her name, but the girl is very cute too.

And the song matches the PV perfectly. As the vocals are done by cheluce this time around, we’re treated to some beautiful melodies. I like to gush about Stack’s vocals a lot, but cheluce has sung some real beautiful songs – Evening Primrose (one of my favourites) and Flowery Petals, which I’ve already covered and you can find links to below.

When cheluce is the vocalist, you know you’re in for some great vocals. Her voice is a lot more gentle than Stack’s I think, which definitely makes for a much different tone in the song.

I won’t ramble anymore about this one though, because I know that I’m not very good at describing music in words! You’ll just have to listen for yourself and see what you think.

I’m giving CALL MY ALL a 4 / 5.
Very nice song. It lacks the catchy element that many other Akatsuki songs have, and I wasn’t able to catch the resemblance to the original Touhou track, but this is still a beautiful song and a good listen.

Until next time,
Thanks for reading!
