Episode 5 already?
Time sure flies.
I can’t speak for the rest of you, but I’ve been really enjoying Konobi, as well as some of the themes I’ve chosen. I’ve never watched a comedy anime like this weekly, and it’s actually been quite relaxing to just sit down and watch a single episode, as opposed to 3-5 episodes.
That said, let’s make the episodic themes a little more character-centric this time around.
The overview:
- The anime is This Art Club Has a Problem!
- Each week, for each episode I will post a list of themes.
- Pick a theme, watch the episode, and write a post about it!
- You are free to write however you wish, and as much as you wish.
Just be sure to write about your chosen theme in relation to the episode! - Please tag the post the theme list post where you got your chosen theme (ex. tag this post for episode 5) so that I can keep track of everyone’s posts. I will also update this post with a list of everyone’s posts as we go.
- Have fun!
You can find the previous theme lists here.

Episode 5 Themes

And there you have it.
A very character-centric list of themes to choose from.
I’m going to choose shower President with praise.
He’s just misunderstood, I’m sure of it. I’ll do my best to explain why in my post this week!
Until next time.
Thanks for reading!
“Criticize everything Subaru says & does” – Definitely taking this one. It seems like a petty way to spend an episode but also like a lot of fun.

Petty ways to spend an episode is what this collab is all about!

Sorry, I’m going to have to bail on the episode this week. Things have been a bit off for me and I just haven’t got to the episode.

Same, and not just because it’s the theme I took 😉

I don’t think we’ve ever had double-ups in theme choices, but by the time I went to check the comments of this post (after I finished my post), Karandi took the theme I used. Oh well – I transcribed all of Subaru’s lines and where they occur in the episode, so I don’t think anyone else’s post will look like mine…

Jon and Karandi chose the same theme a few episodes back, but I think with everyone having a different style it usually ends up being very different. I’m looking forward to Subaru getting nitpicked twice this week now haha

Yup and we were totally different!
Also, Subaru deserves all the scrutiny…
